Goals:
First Half
The first half featured chances, such as the one for the young prospect, David Yoo, former Auckland City player and OFC Champions League winner, who hit the post of New Zealand goalkeeper Matthew Foord in the 30th minute. In another New Zealand attack, Adam Supyk was forced to clear a ball off the line after a corner kick taken by David Yoo.
Second Half
A second half again very dominant for the team coached by Welshman Rob Sherman, with lots of possession and pressing high up the pitch. The key play of the match ended up being a save by the young New Zealand goalkeeper for Bula FC, Matthew Foord, when Ryan Feutz took a very good free kick, ultimately resulting in a better outcome for the Fiji team.
Standings and next round
Roy Krishna's star team is now one point away from the qualifying zone and faces Tahiti United on March 15th in Honiara, while South Island United faces Auckland FC in a postponed match with no date yet set.
