First Half
Ben Cahn's team entered the first half feeling relaxed and with far less pressure than Stephane Auvray's side, who were coming off their second victory in the tournament against PNG Hekari but remained outside the qualifying zone, and this continued until the Australian and star of the Solomon Kings opened the scoring in the 19th minute.
Second Half
In the second half, Stephane Auvray decided to push the team forward, seeking a result to put them in the qualifying zone for the next phase. He even tried with substitutions and changes of positions, but it wasn't enough to tie the game. On the contrary, the team even conceded a penalty goal near the end of the game, scored by the Japanese player Higashide.

Ben Cahn's team now occupies third place, comfortably ahead of fifth, and faces South Melbourne on March 4th in Melbourne, while Bula FC, in sixth place and one point away from entering the qualifying zone, faces South Island United on March 3rd, also in Melbourne.
