With a goal early in the game at 6 minutes, Auckland FC maintained their lead throughout the first half, always in control of their opponent without suffering any major scares.


Brisbane Roar coach Michal Valkanis decided to make 3 substitutions at the start of the second half, but it was Brook in the 73rd minute who scored the goal to seal the victory away from home.
