The match had the biggest margin of favoritism of the round so far, with the league leader hosting the bottom-placed team and playing to maintain their lead.

The first half at Go Media Stadium began with an early goal in the 15th minute by young Jesse Randall, and Steve Corica's team continued to dominate the match, but in the dying moments of the first half, promising player Oli Lavale equalized for New Zealand.

Right at the start of the second half, Englishman Sam Cosgrove, one of the technical leaders of the Auckland team, put Steve Corica's men ahead again, and we saw a 'mirror' of the first half on the Central Coast side, with young player Olive Lavale, from South Melbourne, scoring the equalizer again in the dying moments.

The newly rich team from Oceania and favorite for the OFC Pro League title continues to lead the overall A-League table for another year, but looks at Newcastle Jets just 1 point behind, while Warren Moon's team will have a lot of work ahead of them if they want to get out of last place.
