First Half
A match in Port Moresby was expected to be fairly balanced between the two clubs, both founded in 2025, but the Fijian team has a bit more experience and this has made a difference in their games. While star player Roy Krishna was the protagonist, the one who stole the spotlight was a young player from Auckland City, Nabil Begg, the jewel of Fijian football, who scored the opening goal in the 44th minute.
Second Half
The second half promised high expectations, especially for the team featuring young star Raphael Le'ai and his teammate Junior David, both players from the Solomon Islands national team. However, it was coach Stephane Auvray's team that dominated the night, winning the game and entering the playoff zone.

The Fiji team currently occupies third place and aims for a playoff spot, facing South Melbourne on February 4th, while Solomon Kings occupies fourth place and is also within the playoff zone, and will face South Island United in the next round, also on February 4th.
