First Half


The first half began with an early goal in the 18th minute by Villiami Villiamu, a player for the Samoan national team. Not long after, in the 24th minute, young Roland Scanlan scored the second, and Nathan Villiamu added the third in the 43rd minute to complete the first half.


Second Half


The second half began with the Tonga team trying to react to the cruel defeat in the first half. Burton Gee scored in the 48th minute to make it 1-3, renewing hopes, but Nathan Villiamu scored the fourth goal in the 51st minute, throwing a bucket of cold water on those hopes. Then, a goal for each team in the 59th and 60th minutes, and finally, another consolation goal for Nukuhetulu with Kulisitofa Kite in the 83rd minute, eliminating both teams together.


Standings and next round


Vaivase-Tai depended on Tupapa Maraerenga losing and ended up being eliminated in second place with 5 points, 2 behind only the Cook Islands team, while Nukuhetulu finished last with just 1 point after a draw with Pago Youth.
