First Half
The first half was expected to be fairly balanced, with the two technically best teams from the first phase facing off at Vaivase-Tai, but it was the 16-year-old teenager Kima Webb who opened the scoring for Tupapa Maraerenga, much to the dismay of the home crowd.
Second Half
The second half began with the Samoan home team more present in the attacking field and looking for the equalizer when, at 58 minutes, the Samoan national team player, Fa'amatau, tied the game to the delight of the fans, who recorded the best attendance of the first phase, and secured the first point for the home team.
Standings and next round
The home team is 2 points behind the leader, who advances to the next phase, and will face Nukuhetulu on February 6th, while the Cook Islands team maintains its lead and will also face Pago Youth on February 6th.
