Match Report
Labasa FC 0x0 Rewa FC – Champion vs Champion 2026 | Second Leg
Venue: Subrail Park(Labasa)
Attendance: 9k
Date & Time: 2/14/2026
Goals:
First Half
The first half began with the Rewa team focusing more on defense, partly because it was for the first trophy of the season and because they had built an advantage with Nabosa in the first game. There was a lot of pressure from the home team, led by the excellent coach Alvin Chand, and their attack, featuring the league's best young player last year, Abana, a player from the Solomon Islands, played very well, but it wasn't enough to break the deadlock.
Second Half
In the second half, coach Rodeck Singh continued with a more reactive approach, emphasizing counter-attacks and relying on his sensational goalkeeper Do'oro, who secured the title for the league champions, winning their first trophy of the season.
Standings and next round
Labasa FC doesn't have much time to lament because they face Nasinu at home in the first round of the league, while the Champion vs Champion and current league champion faces Tailevu away from home in their national championship debut.
